What are the entry requirements?
You'll need at least three grade 3s and one grade 2 at GCSE, including English Language.
What will you learn?
You'll build your skills across a range of art and design techniques, developing a portfolio of practical work that reflects your own creative ideas and interests.
What else will I study alongside this course?
This Certificate forms part of a full study programme, alongside two further Level 2 courses. If you don't already hold a grade 4 or above in GCSE English or Maths, you'll continue working towards these, or towards Functional Skills, at the same time.
What can this course lead to?
A Merit or above can support progression to a Level 3 Art & Design pathway, such as Art & Design (OCR Level 3), Graphic Design or Design (3D), all of which accept a Level 2 Merit as part of their entry criteria.
