What Ofsted found
Inspectors recognised the College’s inclusive culture and found that students treat one another with respect. They highlighted our students’ mature and positive approach to their studies, the breadth of our enrichment programme and the confidence students develop during their time with us.
Ofsted concluded:
“Leaders have created a culture of high standards and aspirations.”
Inspectors also found that students feel safe at College, that safeguarding arrangements are effective and that students requiring additional support receive it quickly.
Committed to continuous improvement
We are proud of this positive inspection outcome, while remaining clear that a strong College must always seek to improve.
Ofsted identified priorities relating to attendance, outcomes on a small number of vocational courses, careers guidance for students planning to enter employment, and greater employer involvement in curriculum design. These findings have informed our continuing improvement work and strategic priorities.
