- develop resilience, confidence and effective study habits;
- understand the world around them and contribute positively to society;
- benefit from an inclusive learning environment in which individual needs are recognised and supported;
- explore learning and personal development beyond the classroom; and
- make informed and ambitious choices about their future.
How we deliver our curriculum
Every student follows a carefully designed study programme based on their qualifications, interests and future ambitions. Our application, interview and enrolment processes provide individual advice and guidance to help each student select the most appropriate pathway.
Alongside their chosen qualifications, students benefit from:
- high-quality teaching from subject specialists;
- regular assessment, feedback and academic support;
- a dedicated Progress Coach and structured tutorial programme;
- guided study that develops effective and independent learning habits;
- additional support for students with SEND or other individual learning needs;
- opportunities for stretch and challenge, including the Extended Project Qualification and Luton Scholars Programme;
- careers education, impartial guidance and access to meaningful encounters with employers;
- work experience and opportunities to develop workplace skills; and
- an extensive enrichment programme encompassing sport, volunteering, clubs, societies and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
Our approach combines academic ambition with personal development. We want students not only to achieve excellent qualifications, but also to leave the College as confident, responsible and resilient young adults, ready to embrace the opportunities ahead.
