Support for parents and carers

Parents can stay informed about their child’s attendance, academic progress, and achievements through the Parent Portal. Regular progress reviews, reports, and tutor feedback are also provided throughout the academic year. If you have concerns at any time, you can contact your child’s tutor or curriculum team directly.

We offer a range of support services to help students succeed academically and personally. Depending on the nature of your concern, you can contact your child’s tutor, the Student Support Team, Safeguarding Team, or Wellbeing Services. Our staff will work with you to ensure your child receives the appropriate support.

If your child is absent due to illness or another valid reason, please notify the college as soon as possible using the designated absence reporting process. Maintaining good attendance is important for student success, and our teams will provide support where attendance issues arise.

You can support your child by encouraging regular attendance, discussing their progress and goals, helping them manage their time effectively, and staying engaged with college communications.
