What are the entry requirements?
You’ll need four GCSEs at grades 9 to 4. You'll need a grade 3 in GCSE English. You'll also need an appropriate level of vocal or instrumental proficiency, assessed at audition.
What will you learn?
You'll work both by ear and from standard notation, building your aural and music theory skills through units including Performing Music Live, Live Sound Engineering and a Collaborative Project.
Can I combine this with other courses?
Yes. This course combines well with A-level Music or the RSL Subsidiary Diploma in Music Technology.
What can this course lead to?
Former students have gone on to study music performance, commercial music, music technology and music production at universities, conservatoires and private music colleges.
