What are the entry requirements?
There are no specific entry requirements beyond an interest in learning a new language or in the ancient world.
What will you learn?
You'll follow the Cambridge Latin Course, developing your translation skills and building your vocabulary and grammar towards Level 1.
How is the course taught?
Through two lessons a week, including at least one in a computer room, you'll build your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills from scratch, working through language-learning materials, games and recordings.
How will you be assessed?
The course focuses on Speaking and Listening at Entry Level 3, with presentations, interviews and listening comprehension tasks. There is also an opportunity to be assessed in reading and writing.
